This set is for fishing small to medium sized tributary rivers for smallmouth bass. It has mid-range components that have noticeable advantages over inexpensive gear. If the water has good visibility, target the deepest pools you can see. If you are not able to see the bottom, target the outside of bends, and behind any current breaks.
